Choose a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 A Level subjects from these 12 subjects. When choosing what to study, pick subjects that you’re comfortable with or in line with your strengths. 

 

If you have an idea which bachelor’s degree you’d like to pursue next, consider specific subject combination recommendations. You will have 2 Core Subjects, with options to choose for 3rd and 4th subjects to complete the combination.

Our Cambridge A Level programme offers a 100% exam-based assessment. It's divided into two stages and is ideal for applicants looking to pursue competitive degrees like Medicine and Pharmacy; or seeking entry into top universities in the world, especially in the UK. There are two stages in this A Level programme, and Each stage contributes 50% towards your final grade.

  • Stage 1: Advanced Subsidiary (or better known as AS Level) which forms the foundation of A Level
  • Stage 2: A2 Level which covers more complex topics in your chosen subjects

  • Accounting: You'll apply your accounting knowledge to analyse, present information, offer reasoned explanations, and make informed decisions. Also, master essentials like financial data recording, accounting principles, and control systems. Explore capital raising through shares and loans, cash flow statement preparation, and more.
  • Biology: You'll study a blend of theory and practice to grasp biological molecules and cells. In the AS level, explore energy transfers, organism responses to environmental changes, genetics, evolution, ecosystems, and gene expression control too.
  • Business: You'll gain insight into business's role in society, its scope, and nature. Also, Navigate economic, environmental, ethical, governmental, legal, social, and technological aspects. You'll develop a critical comprehension of organizational dynamics and market interactions.
  • Chemistry: You'll gain a deep grasp of key concepts, extensive knowledge about chemistry's core themes, and robust practical skills. Other topics include exploring atoms, forces, chemical patterns, reactions, bonds, and energy changes in the syllabus.
  • Computer Science: You get to build a foundation in computer science principles with topics including information representation, Internet technologies, hardware, software development, and relational database modeling. Acquire computational thinking and problem-solving skills to craft computer-based solutions effectively.
  • Economics: You'll uncover a spectrum of economic notions, from the price system to government intervention, international trade, employment measurement, inflation's causes and effects. Study market failure, the price system, macroeconomics, economic growth, and development for a comprehensive economic understanding.
  • Further Mathematics: Develop a versatile skill set as you work with mathematical information, think logically, and analyze results independently. Apply these skills across subjects, preparing you for higher education or employment. The extra time invested in this subject will enhance your understanding of A Level Mathematics.
  • Law: Acquire a solid grasp of legal foundation for our changign society. You'll learn the English legal system, Contract Law, and Tort Law, cultivating lifelong abilities. Through analyzing practical scenarios, you'll refine your language to convey interpretation, reasoning, commentary, and judgment effectively.
  • Literature in English: You'll appreciate as you explore and interpret English literature through reading and critical analysis of texts in prose, poetry, and drama. Engage with set texts from various periods and cultures. Cultivate your creative and persuasive writing abilities in various styles, alongside effective research and information management skills.
  • Mathematics: You'll establish a strong foundation in the mathematical tools vital for workplaces. Develop logical and reasoning skills that extend beyond math, benefiting you even outside this field. Topics encompass Pure Mathematics, Mechanics (for science students), and Probability and Statistics.
  • Physics: Dive into practical science studies for hands-on expertise. You'll grasp kinematics, dynamics, solid deformation, particle & nuclear physics, quantum physics, magnetic fields, and electromagnetic induction.
  • Psychology: Immerse yourself in the captivating realm of psychology, exploring research methodology, key studies, and practical applications. Various assessment techniques will showcase your understanding. It focuses on refining psychological knowledge and valuable psychological skills too. AS Level empowers you with insight into cognitive, social, biological, and learning psychology. With A Level, you can apply psychology in areas like abnormality, consumer behaviour, health, and organizations.
