Here's where our Start It Right (SIR) programme comes in: a complimentary two-week pre-intake onboarding to help enrolled Taylor's Pre-U students begin prepared, purposeful and future-ready.

    Start It Right is a two-week programme that gives you a strong, confident start to college life. You’ll get familiar with the campus, understand what’s expected in your studies, and feel way more prepared before classes even begin. Plus, you'll also receive a certificate after completion

    Absolutely! SIR is designed for students who might feel unsure at first. You’ll meet new friends, get comfortable with the environment, and learn what college life is really like, all before the official semester kicks off.

    Not at all. The activities are paced so learning feels enjoyable. Experience a mix of hands-on workshops, discussions, and reflection sessions that help you grow at your own pace.

    No worries. SIR helps you build confidence gradually. With small-group activities, guided sharing, and supportive facilitators, you’ll find it easier to express yourself and connect with others.

    Yes. Pick up practical skills like note-taking, time management, research basics, and how to use Taylor’s academic tools for a solid head start.

    You’ll be introduced to the Centre for Counselling Services, where you can get support anytime. Facilitators and academic lecturers will also be available throughout the programme for guidance.

    No. SIR is a complimentary programme for all enrolled Taylor’s College pre-university students.
