College memories are not always defined by one major occasion. Sometimes, it is the people sharing the everyday experiences who make them memorable.

Nur Natasha Yazid, a Diploma in Information Technology graduate, looked back on becoming a Taylor’s ambassador, joining events and meeting new people. For Aishath, it was the moments after presentations, when she and her batchmates would gather to debrief about how everything had gone. 

Then there were considerably longer nights.

As a Diploma in Interior Design graduate, Amal Basirah Binti Aiadi remembered regularly staying overnight on campus with batchmates to complete their work. Exhausting as those nights could be, experiencing them together became one of the memories that stayed with her. 

As the graduates looked back on the people and experiences that shaped their College years, their lecturers had their own memories of the batch too.

When Mr Galvin Lee Kuan Sian was asked which fictional characters reminded him of the graduating batch, the answer was Harry Potter and his friends. The comparison had less to do with magic and more to do with 'the courage, the friendship and going through together in tough times'. 

Ms R Usha Devi Rajaratnam saw something different in the graduates, comparing them to Po from Kung Fu Panda and recalling the uncertainty that can come with not yet knowing your own potential. 

By graduation, their lecturers were describing the batch rather differently. Mr Muhamad Amirul Aiman Bin Mohd Aladib described them as talented and energetic, while Ms Usha Devi remembered them as 'outspoken, focused go-getters' with 'pockets of cheekiness' too.
