Taylor's College Merit Scholarship is an exclusive scholarship that mainly focuses on your academic achievement as the key consideration factor.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Awards are subject to availability on a first-come-first-serve basis.

  2. Application deadlines may be revised at the sole discretion of Taylor's University/Taylor's College. 

  3. Applicable to all Malaysian and International applicants in possession of academic results from any institution in Malaysia.

  4. For current 2020 Examination, forecast, trial and actual results will be considered.

  5. For past year SPM & IGCSE leaver(s), offer of award will only be considered when Taylor's University/Taylor's College receives the actual result.

  6. Only SPM, IGCSE and equivalent examination subjects will be taken into consideration with the exclusion of 1119 (GCE-O) and SPM Principles of Accounting Dual Certification (LCCI).

  7. Award offered is applicable to 2021 intakes only.

  8. For past year SPM & IGCSE leaver(s), offer of award will only be considered for the earliest available intake.

  9. Recipients are required to enroll into the earliest intake applicable. Any request for exceptions shall be directed to Scholarships Management. All outcome on such requests are final and are under the jurisdiction Taylor's Scholarships Management. 

  10. All 2021 scholarships/ bursary/ awards are applicable for studies at Taylor's University/Taylor's College in Malaysia only and are not applicable for the period of study at overseas partner institutions.

  11. The award is a tuition fee waiver; and is not exchangeable for cash, is non-transferable and non-refundable.

  12. The award does not cover fees such as the International Student Annual Fee, EMGS Visa Application Fee, International Student Charge Hospitalisation and Surgical Insurance Fee, EMGS Renewal Fee or any other Visa-related Fee.

  13. If forecast/trial results are used in the application, the actual results must meet the minimum course entry requirements as stipulated by Taylor’s University/Taylor's College. In the event the applicant fails to meet the minimum course entry requirements, they will be required to leave the programme & this offer will be revoked.

  14. Students are entitled to only ONE type of bursary/scholarship/waiver/discount at any one time which includes any sponsorship gained from other institutions / bodies. The one with the highest quantum will automatically apply. 

  15. Upgrade to a higher offer within Distinction Award is allowed if it is during 2021 Distinction Award active period, while upgrading to any other 2021 award/bursary/scholarship will be allowed subsequently until the cut-off date. Upon receival of a higher quantum, the former will be voided.

  16. This offer is valid until the stipulated date of validity outlined in the offer letter and failure to accept the offer within the stipulated timeline will void the offer hereafter. 

  17. A scholarship offer is valid for the duration of the stipulated course and is non-transferable unless with written permission from Taylor’s Scholarship Management. 

  18. By accepting this offer, the recipient understands and accepts the responsibility of being an exemplary student ambassador for Taylor's University/Taylor's College. They must recognise that their behaviour and general conduct must, at all times, be above reproach, comply with all existing rules, regulations, requirements and policies of Taylor's University/Taylor's College. They should not be involved, engaged in or participate in any political, illegal or unlawful activity as a recipient of the scholarship.

  19. Upon accepting this scholarship, the recipient is deemed to have accepted all terms and conditions stipulated in this letter. The recipient also agrees to indemnify and hold Taylor’s University/Taylor's College harmless of and from any and all demands, claims, liabilities or actions of any kind whatsoever.

  20. All awards offered by Taylor’s University/Taylor’s College to any students are at the absolute discretion of Taylor’s University/Taylor’s College and no further appeals shall be entertained. 

  21. Taylor’s University/Taylor’s College reserves the right to reject incomplete/incorrect application forms. 

  22. The terms and conditions of scholarships may be modified and amended from time to time as deemed appropriate by Taylor's University/Taylor's College.

  23. Taylor’s University/Taylor’s College reserve the right to amend or cancel this award at any time.

  24. Recipients would be required to pay a non-refundable RM650 enrollment/processing fee to secure the offer.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS
  1. Scholarships listed is for 2021 intakes only.
  2. All 2021 scholarships are applicable for studies at Taylor's University/Taylor's College in Malaysia only and are not applicable for period of study at overseas partner universities (except for Global Mobility semester).
  3. All scholarship applications would require candidates to be enrolled at the time of offer for the offer to be valid. Should the student withdraw at any point during the shortlisting process, the application will be disqualified. This is applicable to all scholarships except Taylor's University/Taylor's College Community Scholarship.
  4. The scholarship is a fee waiver; it is not exchangeable for cash, is non-transferable and non- refundable.
  5. All SPM subjects are taken into consideration except for 1119 (GCE-O) and Accounting LCCI.
  6. For IGCSE syllabus, KBSM grades will not be taken into consideration if the same language has already been taken in IGCSE.
  7. Scholarships/Bursaries/Awards/Waiver/Discounts are applicable for all Malaysian students or International students that hold academic results from any institution in Malaysia.
  8. The scholarship does not cover fees such as the International Student Annual Fee, EMGS Visa Application Fee, International Student Charge Hospitalisation and Surgical Insurance Fee, EMGS Renewal Fee or any other Visa-related Fee.
  9.  If forecast/trial results are used in the application, the actual results must meet the minimum course entry requirements as stipulated by Taylor's University/Taylor's College. In the event the student fails to meet the minimum course entry requirements, they are required to leave the programme and their scholarship offer will be revoked.
  10. Applicants are only allowed to use forecast/trial or actual results and not a mixture of both qualifications.
  11. Students are entitled to ONE(1) type of bursary/scholarship/waiver/discount at any one-time including sponsorship from other institutions/bodies. The one with the highest quantum will automatically apply.
  12.  If the scholarship offer is not accepted by the stipulated date in the letter of offer, it will automatically be withdrawn and voided.
  13. Should recipients defer to 2022 or later intakes, the scholarship shall be revoked.
  14. A scholarship offer is valid in the standard duration of the stipulated course and is non- transferable at Taylor's University/Taylor's College unless with written permission from the scholarships department.
  15. The scholarship ONLY covers subjects enrolled for the first time (first attempt). NOT for repeat subjects.
  16.  By accepting this offer, the recipient understands and accepts the responsibility of being an exemplary student ambassador for Taylor’s University/Taylor’s College. They must recognise that their behaviour and general conduct must, at all times, be above reproach, comply with all existing rules, regulations, requirements and policies of Taylor’s University/Taylor’s College. They should not be involved, engaged in or participate in any political, illegal or unlawful activity as a recipient of the scholarship.
  17. All scholarship recipients are required to join the Scholar’s Club during the duration of their scholarship and fulfill required participations as stated in the club recruitment form.
  18. Upon accepting this scholarship, the recipient is deemed to have accepted all terms and conditions stipulated in this letter. The recipient also agrees to indemnify and hold Taylor’s University/Taylor’s College harmless of and from any and all demands, claims, liabilities or actions of any kind whatsoever.
  19.  In the event the recipient withdraws from the programme, is suspended or terminated by Taylor's University/Taylor's College at any point of time, before the completion of the programme, the scholarship shall be automatically terminated. However, should the recipient withdraw from the programme due to medical reasons, his/her scholarship may be retained, subject to the absolute discretion of Taylor's University/Taylor's College.
  20.  All scholarships, bursaries and study grants offered by Taylor's University/Taylor's College to any students are at the absolute discretion of Taylor's University/Taylor's College. All applications must be received by the stipulated deadlines. Late applications will not be considered.
  21. Taylor's University/Taylor's College reserves the right to reject incomplete application forms. This includes applications without required attachments.
  22. decisions made by Taylor's University/Taylor's College are final and no further appeals shall be entertained.
  23. Taylor's University/Taylor's College reserves the right to involve the scholarship recipients in interviews, advertisement, photography or any other publicity related activities at its sole discretion.

YAYASAN PENERAJU BUMIPUTERA SPONSORSHIP FOR MICPA @ TAYLOR'S

Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera (YPPB) is offering sponsorships for Bumiputera students to pursue the MICPA CA ANZ programme. This great opportunity from Yayasan Peneraju is catered for students who have completed a Degree in Accounting accredited by MICPA or CA ANZ before the programme commences in January 2021.

You may apply for the Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera (YPPB) sponsorship programme now to begin your MICPA education at Taylor’s College. The Yayasan Peneraju Sponsorship for Graduates - Perakaunan and Yayasan Peneraju Sponsorship for Working/ Non-Working Adults are currently open for registration!

Entry Requirements

  • Bumiputera
  • Aged between 21 to 28 years old
  • Graduated with a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Graduated less than 3 years and with less than 3 years working experience
  • Currently enrolled in selected professional accounting certification on a full-time or part-time basis at any of Yayasan Peneraju's recognised tuition providers
  • Minimum of three (3) papers or one (1) semester left to complete

YAYASAN PENERAJU SPONSORSHIP FOR WORKING/NON-WORKING ADULTS

Entry Requirements

This programme is designed specifically for working / non-working adults on following requirement:

  • Bumiputera
  • Up to 45 years old
  • Compulsory minimum of 3 years previous working experiences (certain certification requires relevant working experience subject to requirement set by the certification / professional bodies)
  • Graduated less than 3 years and with less than 3 years working experience
  • Other minimum academic / technical qualification set by certification / professional bodies
