The Diploma in Information Technology is designed to equip students who wish to pursue information communication technology with the essential knowledge, skills and attitude to explore technology-based ventures. In-line with the Strategic Plan 2018-2022, Taylor’s University and Taylor’s College will be positioned to have a distinctive comparative advantage, where the University will intensify its reputation in undergraduate, postgraduate and research offerings, and the College will take a lead on pre-university studies, professional studies and franchise degree programmes.
On that note, effective 1 January 2020, the Diploma in Information Technology, Diploma in Communication and Diploma in Interior Design, which are presently offered by Taylor’s University, will be moved to Taylor’s College.
Students who have registered in the above programmes and are due to commence their studies in 2020 will be enrolled as Taylor’s College students. There will be no adverse effect other than the shift of programmes to Taylor’s College, which is also within the same locale as the University. Rest assured, the University and College will continue to provide an academic experience par excellence.
