The Cambridge Advanced Level or A Level programme is pre-university programme conducted by the prestigious Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), United Kingdom. The Cambridge A Level programme is the gateway to the most prestigious universities worldwide.

A LEVELS WITH CAMBRIDGE VS EDEXCEL 

Cambridge A Levels

  • Guidelines produced by Joint Committee for Qualifications
  • A ‘gold standard’ qualification
  • Emphasis on in-depth knowledge, deep understanding, strong reasoning abilities and critical thinking
  • Flexible System allows student to sit for the AS level in one examination and A2 level in the following session. Each level contributes 50% towards the final A Level grade
  • A maximum of five modules per subject

Edexcel A Levels

  • Guidelines produced by Joint Committee for Qualifications
  • Widest options & opportunities
  • Knowledge & strong preparation for further studies
  • Modular System allows student to retake any modules to improve subject grade. Most students would sit for 1-2 papers per subject at the end of every 5 to 6 months
  • A maximum of six modules per subject
