At the Centre for Counselling Services (CCS), we aim to help and support students resolve personal difficulties acquiring the skills, and knowledge that will enable them to take full advantage of the experience at Taylor’s.


CCS offers a service which is free, confidential, and available to all students, to provide you with the emotional and psychological support whenever you need it. CCS focuses on Prevention, Intervention and Collaboration and our goal is to create a welcoming, comfortable, and safe atmosphere for you.


Individual Counselling

A process which allows clients to discuss their concern or worries, develop better self-awareness and coping strategies with a counsellor in a one-on-one confidential environment.


Group Counselling

Comprises of a small group of individuals with similar concerns who, with a counsellor to explore their issues together through group discussion and interaction in a safe and confidential environment.


Psychological and Well-being Consultation

Counselling aims to cover all areas of psychological and well-being services through personal discussions with students, parents and staff.

Student with Special Needs Support

A support system provided to assist students with special needs who are medically or clinically diagnosed.


Crisis Interventions

An immediate intervention taken by the counsellors to assist in the care of those in crisis situation which may include an initiation of counselling or a referral to additional university and community resources. 


Assistance with referrals to community resources

A support system for referral of clients requiring additional external resources extending beyond the limits of counselling services.

The Centre for Counselling Services organizes forums, webinars, workshops and talks related to mental health and personal development throughout the year for the Taylor’s community. CCS also works closely with other stakeholders internally and externally.
