Taylor's Interschool Accounting Competition 2022

Taylor's Inter-school Competition is held in conjunction with Taylor's International Accounting Day Festival 2022, which honours the invaluable roles that our partners and colleagues play in the world of accounting.

This competition encourages students to apply analytical, communication, and teamwork skills to identify the given issues in real-life business problems and produce effective solutions.

 

Prizes

  • Champion (RM5,000 Cash)
  • 1st Runner-up (RM3,000 Cash)
  • 2nd Runner-up (RM1,000 Cash)
  • 3rd Runner-up (RM500 Cash)
  • 4th Runner-up (RM500 Cash)
     

Each winning participant shall also receive a Certificate of Achievement.

HOW TO JOIN?

STEP 1: Gather a group of FIVE (5) students.
 
STEP 2: Get a teacher to be your mentor.
 
STEP 3: Teacher completes registration form by filling up the details in the form.

HOW DOES THE COMPETITION WORK?

PRELIMINARY ROUND: ONLINE

The Preliminary Round will be held online between 10 and 12 October.

All participants must complete 50 multiple-choice questions in one (1) hour via TIMeS platform.

SEMI-FINAL ROUND: ON CAMPUS

Top 20 groups from the Preliminary Round with the highest average score will advance to the Semi-final Round.

These groups will be notified by email and assigned a case study on 14 October, in preparation for the Semi-final Round on 10 November. These groups must present their case study in 10 minutes on 10 November.

GRAND FINAL ROUND: ON CAMPUS

Top 5 groups from the Semi-Final Round will advance to the Grand Final Round on 10 November.

Another case study will be delivered to the selected groups. Each group must develop a solution to the provided scenario within 45 minutes, followed by a-10 minute presentation.
