The Centre for Counselling Services (CCS) aims to help and support students resolve personal difficulties acquire the skills, and knowledge that will enable them to take full advantage of the experience at Taylor’s.
CCS offers a service which is free, confidential, and available to all students to provide you with the emotional and psychological support whenever you need it. CCS focuses on Prevention, Intervention and Collaboration.
Comprises of a small group of individuals with similar concerns who, with a counsellor to explore their issues together through group discussion and interaction in a safe and confidential environment.
An immediate intervention taken by the counsellors to assist in the care of those in crisis situation which may include an initiation of counselling or a referral to additional university and community resources.
We strive to offer services in therapeutic atmosphere that is welcoming, comfortable and safe for all.
As the world trudges through COVID-19, the pandemic has also drawn a deeper lens in recognising the importance of mental health and its challenges. During this campaign, there will be a series of online events for the Taylor’s community in tackling mental health.
