We are the official Technology Club at Taylor’s University and we are devoted to the gaining and distribution of knowledge of anything technology related to any students who are interested. Agents of Tech is a diversified club that caters to all kinds of passionate students in hackathons, tech talks and technology-related workshops that explore technologies beyond the educational institution syllabus. At the same time, we have movie nights once every month to get together with the members and watch a tech-related movie.
Agents of Tech also collaborates with Taylor’s Community to provide basic technology education to the underprivileged such as using the Windows Operating System, Google Suites and Microsoft Offices. Other than that, Agents of Tech also collaborates with various clubs throughout Taylor’s such as Girl Up, SPART and many more!
Our goal is to bring more valuable knowledge and develop technological skills in students to be ready for the work environment of the 21st century.
Welcoming Party are held for new members to get to know more about our club, the BODs running the club and other members. There will be ice-breaking and game sessions and more.
Imagine Hack is a platform that gathers students who have ideas, technical & design skills to collaborate and join the 24-hour code-marathon event to create their own technology.
These workshops will be hosted every month to build up the competency of students in various programming languages such as Python, Java and any languages you would like to learn.
These workshops are held to share the latest technology with students. Some of the workshops that were held are Introduction to the Internet of Things and Blockchain Workshop.
Movie nights are held every month where members get together to watch a technology-related movie such as Tenet to understand more about the advancement of technology in the world.
We collaborated with Taylor’s Community to teach the underprivileged the fundamentals of using a computer such as saving a file, using Google Suite as well as Microsoft Offices.
We have also collaborated with clubs and societies such as Girls Up to teach Python programming for social good in conjunction with International Women and Girls in Science Week.
The Cyber Initiative is a one-day panel discussion that exposes students to the Cybersecurity Industry by providing insights and advice from leading industrial players.
