Updates: All Teaching and Learning to Continue Virtually

Dear Students,

UPDATES: ALL TEACHING AND LEARNING TO CONTINUE VIRTUALLY

Teaching and learning activities for all programmes at Taylor’s University and Taylor’s College will continue to be conducted virtually and are accessible via TIMeS. Hybrid learning (online and face-to-face learning) is set to commence in March 2021.

This follows the announcement made by The Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE) on student admissions, details are as follows:

  • Local students from Higher Education Institutions to return to campus in phases from 1 March 2021. For students from Red Zones*, student admission is 10 days earlier to undergo an isolation process. More information on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and isolation process will be shared in separate announcement.
  • Existing and new international students (with the exception of students from the United Kingdom) are allowed to enter Malaysia from 1 January 2021. This is subject to students whose application have been given approval and obtained a visa from the Immigration Department.

Additionally, do note that the Taylor’s Lakeside Campus will remain closed throughout the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO). This follows the recent announcement made by The Malaysian Government on the extension of CMCO in Selangor to 14 January 2021. We will communicate any further updates, as we receive them.

In the meantime, please contact Campus Central at +6011 5699 3387 or campuscentral@taylors.edu.my if you should have any queries.

Yours sincerely,

Professor Michael Driscoll
Vice Chancellor and President
