Dear Students,
CMCO extended for four weeks; campus remains closed
The government has announced on 7 November that the Conditional Movement Control Order in Selangor and most states will continue for four more weeks, until 6 December 2020.
Following this announcement, the Taylor’s Lakeside Campus will remain closed for the duration stipulated above. All teaching and learning activities will continue online until 6 December 2020, or a date determined by the authorities.
Where necessary, examinations and assessments will also be conducted online. Students who are required to sit for international, external and professional examinations on campus are allowed to do so according to the prescribed schedule, and will need to acquire a confirmation letter from Taylor’s.
Taylor’s will continue to provide the support you need to ensure your learning is not disrupted. Do log on to your module sites via TIMeS (learning management system) for information about teaching and learning sessions, and reach out to your programme directors and lecturers if you have further enquiries.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely for any further announcements from the Ministry of Higher Education.
Let us all do our part in flattening the curve and take preventative measures. Please stay safe and stay healthy. We will get through this together.
Yours sincerely,
Professor Michael Driscoll
Vice Chancellor and President
