SACE Board has announced the cancellation of the Stage 2 NH examinations scheduled to be held from 29 April to 6 May 2020, due to developments surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Board will impute grades for the 30% external final examination component. This would be done fairly without any disadvantage to students.
All students who have successfully completed all the necessary requirements of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) will be awarded the SACE certificates, and those who qualify for ATARs will also be rightfully given their ATAR scores.
University acceptance will not be compromised as the SACE Board has guaranteed the validity and reliability of the SACE assessments and grades. Therefore, the certificate’s integrity is maintained despite the cancellation of the examination. Do note that the SACE results are scheduled to be released at the end of May 2020.
We will continue to communicate with our students and parents if we receive any further guidelines from SACE Board. Meanwhile, all questions are to be directed to SACEi Programme Director Ms. Lai Cheng See or the Programme Coordinator Pn. Zaidah.
