WHO CAN JOIN?

Secondary school students in the following categories:

  • Form 4 and 5 students taking Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
  • Form 6 students taking Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM)
  • SM2 and SM3 students taking Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
  • Year 10 and 11 students taking International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)

HOW TO JOIN?

STEP 1: Gather a group of FIVE (5) students.

STEP 2: Get a teacher to be your mentor.

STEP 3: Teacher completes registration form.

HOW DOES THE COMPETITION WORK?

PRELIMINARY ROUND: ONLINE

The Preliminary Round will be held online between 12 and 14 August.

All participants must complete 50 multiple-choice questions in one (1) hour via the TIMeS platform.

SEMI-FINAL ROUND: ON CAMPUS

Top 20 groups from the Preliminary Round with the highest average score will advance to the Semi-final Round.

These groups will be notified by email and assigned a case study on 27 August, in preparation for the Semi-final Round on 7 October.

These groups must present their case study in 10 minutes on 7 October.

GRAND FINAL ROUND: ON CAMPUS

Top 5 groups from the Semi-Final Round will advance to the Grand Final Round on 7 October.

Another case study will be delivered to the selected groups.

Each group must develop a solution to the provided scenario within 45 minutes, followed by a 10-minute presentation.
